Why higher education is important to us

Campus design is an important focus for FFA because it supports our mission to contribute to society. We understand the vital role colleges and universities play in the community and enjoy helping them achieve their goals. We believe higher education campuses and facilities should reflect the character and spirit of its academic community, creating an environment in which students, faculty, and staff thrive.

Our services to higher education clients include:

• campus master planning
• building assessment and feasibility studies
• renovations, additions, historic preservation
• new construction

We conduct initial studies to determine needs and feasibility

Our experience has repeatedly shown that people support what they help create. We work with students, faculty and staff in a collaborative process that may include programming specialists in the critical initial phases of a project. We have found that pre-bond or pre-funding studies are most effective when the building program and design concept are developed together. The result is a concept that is supported by the stakeholders and that the academic institution can be confident is buildable within their budget.
