Cascade Station F1: ITT Technical Institute

Working with developer Trammel Crow Company, FFA designed a 2-story, 35,000 square-foot, steel framed office building, located in the growing Cascade Station district, adjacent to the Portland International airport.
The facility, which has just been completed, was built-to-suit for 10-year lessor, ITT Technical Institute. The high tech training facility includes classrooms, computer labs, offices and administrative spaces, as well as in Internet cafe. ITT started this fall with the largest enrollment ever in Portland with 800 students. Normally ITT buildings are only one-story, but the local demand is so high that they decided they required the two-story space.
The prime location, which is immediately accessible by light rail, makes it a perfect spot for commuting students and serves in attracting yet another demographic, in addition to travelers and retail shoppers to one of Portland's fastest growing dynamic mixed-use districts.
